Pledge of integrity
Pledge of integrity
OVER 1,000 Penang civil servants from state and federal departments took an oath of integrity during the state’s Integrity Day celebrated in Komtar on Thursday. The event also included the launching of the ‘IKHLAS’ project that emphasised three positive characteristics — personal values, organisational values and work values.
The project will run for six months during which time the Penang Integrity Institute will carry out monitoring and research on state civil service departments to get input on how they are taking to a culture of integrity. During this period, civil servants will also don ‘IKHLAS’ badges.
The event, which was launched by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, also saw the unveiling of Menang — the state’s new mascot.
